July 25, 2003 - The Salt Lake Tribune, home state paper of
Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT), is reporting that the Senator has
proposed amending the US Constitution to allow naturalized
immigrants, such as his good friend Arnold Schwarzenegger, to run
for President.
Schwarzenegger, an unqualified reputed philanderer and steroid user,
who made his living as the poster child for violence in the media,
who has no educational nor career qualifications, is being installed
by the corporate-owned-and-operated press as the Governor of
California. The recall is buying his way into office.
Now, they are initiating a plan that will let them install him into
the White House.
The specific amendment would let any citizen who has been
naturalized for over 20 years to run for President.
Nothing, not even the US Constitution, will stand in the way of the
psychotic right-wing ambitions of the Bush/Limbaugh brand
Republicans. They sold us the current President with an
endless supply of stories about how he was "likeable" and
"unbeatable," and now are doing the same with Arnold.
The one thing this all explains is Dan Quayle. We all wondered
why George Bush, Sr. chose such an idiot as his Vice Presidential
candidate.
Now we know - it was because a good looking but mindless puppet is
their ideal candidate. When George, Sr. looked at Quayle, he
saw his son George W. Arnold is in the same mold. The
perfect Republican is one who will simply, without questioning, echo
whatever lines he is fed, will lie without conscience - and truly
not have the intellectual capacity to understand what is so bad
about the lies being told or the policies being carried out.
The rest of the party runs the hand up the butt and works the mouth
to accomplish the ends they wish. And all the while, the
witless moron who holds the office just smiles and chirps the words
he has been fed on command.
How proud the Republicans must be that the main staple - indeed, the
highest tier - of preferred candidate for them is the mindless
idiot.
Here's a question for you - why isn't this proposed amendment a
major story, or even a minor story, in any of the major news
sources? They are even reporting this story all the way down
in Brazil, in Istoe, the Brazilian equivalent of TIME Magazine, but
not here in America.
Answer: because our press is currently right-wing Republican
owned-and-operated, and so will keep this abysmal joke quiet, only
mentioning it after the fact when they start telling you how
suddenly Arnold is unbeatable for President because he is now,
whoops, surprise, allowed to run.
There is only one question in this: how long will the American
people and press stand for the installation of unqualified, moronic
Republican puppets-to-be?
